My name is Hugh. I am 19 and a quarter years old. I like TV, staying up past my bedtime and hanging out with my mates in Dundrum. I hate teachers and homework. I'm also, starting tomorrow, embarking on a 7000km journey crossing the torso of southern Africa.

So it's out of mBaile Atha Cliath and into the Masaai Mara. Less Terenure more Tanzania. Less of Youtube more of Uganda. Less lie-ins more lions. Buffalo 19 turns into 19 Buffalos. And Hugh O'Marcaigh turns in Uguho Maraki. I'm going native.
I'm guessing that in my next blog I'll be shiting on about all the stuff I've done, seen, heard and experienced.
I've signed myself onto metal tube that is to be flung across a planet tomorrow. I hope they have some Simpsons or something ready for me.
